Requests

Requests settings control the behaviour of the Requests module for your organisation, covering email automation and AI-assisted request creation. They determine which email templates are sent at each stage of the request workflow and whether AI processing is enabled for incoming requests.

Email automation

Request confirmation email templateInput

Sent automatically to clients when they submit a request through the VOW API.

Select an email template to send to the client as confirmation when a new request is received via the VOW requests API. If left empty, no confirmation email is sent.

Accepting requestsInput

Pre-filled in the email dialog when a request is accepted.

Select a template to pre-fill automatically when a user accepts a request. The email dialog opens immediately on acceptance with the template loaded and the request's contacts in the To field. If left empty, no email dialog opens automatically.

Rejecting requestsInput

Pre-filled in the email dialog when a request is rejected.

Select a template to pre-fill automatically when a user rejects a request. Behaves the same way as the acceptance template above. If left empty, no email dialog opens automatically.

Unstructured requests

Enable AI request creationToggle

Allows users to create requests by dragging and dropping files or pasting unstructured text.

When enabled, users can drag and drop files onto the Requests page to create new requests using AI. A privacy disclaimer must be accepted before the setting is turned on.

Requests created this way are generated using the OpenAI API. Uploaded data is sent securely to OpenAI for processing but is not stored, retained, or used to train their models. See the API Platform section at openai.com/enterprise-privacy for full details.

Mark created requests as unread by defaultToggle

AI-created requests appear as unread, the same as requests received via the API.

When enabled, requests created through AI will be marked as unread on creation. When disabled, they are marked as read, the same as manually created requests. Only available when AI request creation is enabled.
