Company files

Company files are files stored at the organisation level, available across the system without being attached to a specific job or record. Supported file types include spreadsheets, Word documents, PDFs, and images. Company files can be inserted as appendices in long form report templates and attached to jobs automatically when a template task is processed.

Views

The file panel has three views. Use the toggle button in the top-right corner of the panel to switch between flat view and folder view.

Flat viewShows all files in a single flat list regardless of folder.
Folder view (grid)Shows files in their folder structure with thumbnails.
Folder view (list)Shows files in their folder structure in a compact list.

Switch between grid and list within folder view using the View menu in the toolbar.

Details panel

In folder view, a panel to the right shows either a preview or information about the selected file. Use the View menu to switch between Details pane (file properties) and Preview pane (file content preview). The panel can be collapsed.

Managing company files

The actions menu (the button in the folder view toolbar) provides options for the current file selection.

Download as zipAction
Downloads the selected files or folder as a zip archive. Available when multiple files or a folder are selected.
Upload filesAction
Opens the file picker to upload one or more files. Files can also be dragged and dropped directly onto the panel.

Add a new folderAction
Creates a new folder in the current location to help organise files.
